NFLPA Expands Business With Eight New Licensees

Highlights include new licensees in Australia and Mexico; the first NFLPA licensee in the Health and Beauty Aids category.

WASHINGTON D.C., April 12, 2016 – The NFL Players Association (NFLPA), via its licensing and marketing arm NFL Players Inc., today announced eight new licensing agreements, including two with concentrated distribution rights in international markets. The newest additions to the NFLPA roster of more than 80 official licensees include Wiesner Products, Mystic Apparel, Ziporex, Global Leisure Concepts, FiveLo Sports, FABNY, Misoluki and Williams Industries.

New licensee highlights:

  • FABNY will offer fans player-identified kids backpacks, drawstring bags, and women’s handbags, as well as a collection of Hardlines that includes travel luggage, ceramic banks and stationery.
  • FiveLo Sports will create a collection of stylish cold weather player-identified Arm Sox, headbands, ear warmers, infinity scarves, knee socks and leg warmers.
  • Misoluki represents the NFLPA’s first licensee in the Health and Beauty Aids (HBA) category, for self-adhesive bandages (brand name GauzeIt), sports tape and cohesive sports/medical wrap
  • Mystic Apparel will produce children’s apparel featuring player imagery on children’s t-shirts, hoodies, gloves and scarves, as well as on children’s and adult sleepwear, book bags, luggage and drawstring bags.
  • Wiesner Products, a leading fashion conglomerate, will offer player-identified children’s and adult footwear including flip flops, slippers, sandals and casual canvas.
  • Williams Industries will create player-inspired drinkware for sale via fundraising channels.

International highlights:

  • Global Leisure Concepts, the NFLPA’s first licensee in Australia, will supply the Australia marketplace with player-identified t-shirts and hoodies.
  • Ziporex, the NFLPA’s first apparel licensee in Mexico, will provide fans an assortment of player-identified name and number branded t-shirts.
