NFLPA AGENT DISCIPLINE COMMITTEE SUSPENDS CONTRACT ADVISOR BRIAN BRUNDAGE’S CERTIFICATION

On December 22, 2016, the NFLPA Committee on Agent Regulation and Discipline (“CARD”) imposed discipline on Brian Brundage based on an indictment issued by a federal court in Chicago alleging multiple felonies involving fraud and tax evasion.

Pursuant to the “extraordinary circumstances” provision in Section 6 (B) of the Regulations, CARD has immediately suspended Brundage’s certification due the serious nature of the charges.

Brundage has the right to appeal CARD’s discipline before an arbitrator within 20 days. Per Section 6 (B), the suspension will remain in effect during an appeal.
