Washington, DC – The NFL Players Association and SigningDay are partnering together to identify top high school football players in the country to teach them life skills for achieving success beyond the field. This relationship will give high school football players access to former players, former coaches and life skills professionals who will share their experiences with these young athletes.

“The NFLPA is excited to partner with SigningDay to educate and inform elite high school football players about the recruiting process,” said NFLPA Senior Director of Player Affairs and Development Jason Belser. “SigningDay provides a unique platform for NFLPA Player Mentors to communicate with elite high school player mentees. Our mission is to be an objective resource to the players, and help them successfully navigate the complexities of modern day recruitment.”

The NFLPA will offer the players and their parents access to a resources page on the SigningDay website to assist them with critical decision making skills and how to become a better player beyond the football field. SigningDay will help identify players through their online recruiting platform designed to assist players with managing the recruiting process.

“SigningDay is thrilled to be working with the NFLPA to educate and empower young men and their families,” said SigningDay Chairman Biff Poggi. “The recruiting process is starting even earlier for players today, so it is critical to give them the tools they need to be successful. The partnership between SigningDay and the NFLPA will be a great resource for players of all ages to advance their football careers and personal development.”
