The Players’ Philanthropy Fund , headquartered in Baltimore, MD, is pleased to announce its newest client Michael Barber, has established the Lewis C. Barber Foundation.

Michael Barber, graduate of Clemson University, played in the National Football League (NFL) from 1995-2001 for the Seattle Seahawks and Indianapolis Colts, respectively. Upon retirement, Barber began his professional journey as an entrepreneur in real estate and construction management.  Today, Barber works with current and former professional athletes and corporations to stimulate new business opportunities, increase sales, and increase brand awareness and visibility.

“The Players’ Philanthropy Fund welcomes Michael to the PPF family,” Matt Stover, co-founder and retired kicker with the Baltimore Raven said.  “We have enjoyed working with Michael as he has developed his goals and objectives for his foundation, named for his grandfather, and we know that he is poised to make a positive impact on the communities, causes and people he cares deeply about.  Kicking off the start of our new fiscal year, with this announcement is terrific,” Stover added. Barber is the fifteenth donor to partner with the Players’ Philanthropy Fund and one of several donors with ties to the NFL.
